Memory Lame By Paul C. Paz
There was a television commercial a couple of years ago where the diner tells the waitress that he ordered his sandwich without mayonnaise only to have the waitress remove the bun top and scrape the mayonnaise off using the edge of the table? A survey listed getting the order correct as the third most important attribute in selecting a restaurant. Yet there are too many instances where the guest is disappointed, the staff has to work twice as hard, and food wasted because the order was not remembered correctly.
With the increased cost of products waste becomes very expensive. Often the deal-breaker on a satisfactory visit to a restaurant is service, even if the food is GREAT!
