Restaurants experience employee and customer theft on a regular basis with owners immediately responding by investing in surveillance equipment to track activity to reduce fraud in their stores. According to the U.S. Department of Commerce, about a third of all business failures each year trace back to employee theft and other employee crime.
Yet restaurant surveillance systems have evolved beyond security to incorporate pre-existing business intelligence that provides owners and franchisees with combined video and data integration to correlate information pertinent to daily and hourly operations.
